On Sunday the Gliwice Off Film Festival Goffr GTW Gliwice ended, during which Julian Tałandziewicz with the film Disorder won the Grand Prix and Piotr Domalewski received the audience award for his Evil deeds.

The Off Film Festival GOFFR is the oldest film festival in Gliwice, which first edition took place in 2004. The Festival hosts meetings with actors, workshops and film screenings, as well as a film competition.

During the 24. Ann Arbor Polish Film Festival, Anastazja Dąbrowska with the film “Daniel” won the award for the best debut, and our graduate Łukasz Nowak with the production of "Tree and I" won in the category of the best short film.

From the beginning of its existence in 1993, the Festival promoted contemporary Polish documentary films, animated short films, feature films and films for children. The Festival includes a short film competition in three categories: a documentary, a short feature film and a film debut.

Paweł Maślona

Paweł Maślona, our graduate, became a laureate of Janusz "Kuba" Morgenstern's Prize "Perspektywa".

"Perspektywa" is the award given for the most promising debut for the director, whose work has great potential and future development prospects. In the Jury awarding the Prize are present as follows: Krystyna Cierniak-Morgenstern - the originator of the “Perspektywa” Prize and the Chair of the Jury, Jacek Bromski, Michał Kwieciński, Agnieszka Odorowicz and Grażyna Torbicka. The founder of the “Perspektywa” Prize is the Polish Film Institute.

Michał Rosa's film "The Happiness of the World" won the Grand Prix - the Krzysztof Kieślowski Main Award for the best feature film at the Denver Film Festival.

The production is a story about the fate of the inhabitants of the tenement house in Silesia - Jan, Róża and the three men who are fascinated by her – a Pole, a Silesian and a young German.

Maciej Pieprzyca's film "I’m a killer" received two individual prizes at FilmFestival Cottbus: Maciej Pieprzyca was honored with a special award for the best directing, and the statuette of Lubina for the distinguished actor was awarded to Mirosław Haniszewski who had the main role in the film.

It was already the 27th edition of FilmFestival Cottbus, a festival that was created after the reunification period in 1991 and is now recognized internationally as the leading Eastern European film festival..
