An adult Adam returns to his hometown after a long stay in a closed institution. Marked by a past tragedy, he tries to adjust to the new reality and reconnect with his mother. His empathy for nature and animals, along with his memories and longing, prove to be destructive, causing Adam to cross a certain boundary, which leads to irreversible consequences.
