Anna Szrama

Anna Szrama

Film scholar with extensive experience in organizing large-scale film events, gained through thirteen years of active collaboration with the International Film Festival Rotterdam (2000–2012) and work on the 19th Warsaw International Film Festival (2003).

From 2004 to 2023, she worked at the Silesia Film Institution, where, as Deputy Director, she was responsible for the programming of arthouse cinemas run by the institution, organizing film premieres and events, coordinating the work of the Silesian Film Archive, and serving as a member of the commission evaluating projects applying for funding from the Silesian Film Fund. In 2024, she worked at the European City of Science Katowice 2024 Office at the University of Silesia.

Throughout her career, she has been associated with the film departments of online portals "Opcje" and "artPAPIER" and collaborated with the cultural magazine "Opcje" in Katowice.

Currently, she is a lecturer at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia, teaching in the Film and Television Production Organization program.
