Lecturer at the London Film School and American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Born in Toruń, began his career as the director of the festival office of the Camerimage Film Festival. He has made a number of films since 2006 short and fiction films that have won more than twenty-five international awards at major festivals such as Cannes, Oberhausen, Austin, New Horizons and Brest. His feature debut "Butterfly Kisses" (BBC Films / Film London / Microwave / Blue Shadows Films) won the Crystal Bear at the Berlinale in 2017. His fictional project "Up on the Roof" won the prestigious Cinefondation Residence award at the Cannes Film Festival.
