PhD in Humanities in the field of Sociology, a graduate in Philosophy, with an MBA postgraduate degree from the Warsaw School of Economics, and postgraduate studies in Human Resource Management from the School of Management at the University of Silesia, as well as the ESMU Humane Winter School for senior managers in Valencia. A specialist in management and HR, communication, self-presentation, and negotiations.

Chancellor of the University of Silesia in Katowice from 2011 to 2024, previously Deputy Chancellor for Development and Cooperation with the Economy, and Director of the Rector's Office.

She served on the Supervisory Board of the 'Rezonans' Radio Station Ltd. from 2009 to 2024,

the Consortium Board and the Board of the Scientific Information Center and Academic Library from 2010 to 2024, and the Supervisory Board of SPIN-US Ltd. from 2014 to 2018.
