Dariusz Wiktorowicz

Actor, director with over 35 years of stage and film experience. A graduate of the Acting Department of the Leon Schiller National Film, Television, and Theatre School in Łódź.

As an actor, he has collaborated with numerous theaters in Poland, including the New Theatre in Łódź, the '83 Study Theatre, the Arlekin Puppet Theatre, the Silesian Theatre in Katowice, and the Entertainment Theatre in Chorzów. From 2005 to 2014, he served as the general and artistic director of the Jan Dorman Children's Theatre in Będzin, where he directed productions for young audiences such as The Alien, Robinson Crusoe, King Matt, In the Wolf’s Belly, The Prince and the Pauper. His works have also been staged at the New Theatre in Łódź, the Mickiewicz Theatre in Częstochowa, the Zagłębie Theatre in Sosnowiec, the Żelazny Theatre in Katowice, the Rabcio Puppet Theatre, the Andersen Theatre in Lublin, and the Puppet and Actor Theatre in Łomża.

Beyond theater, he has successfully worked in television and film. He is the director of popular scripted series such as Policewomen and Policemen and The Just: Criminal Division. Audiences may also recognize him from roles in series like Reflected Light, License to Raise, Gallery, and The Crown of the Kings.

For his artistic achievements, he has been awarded the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis and the Badge of Merit for Polish Culture.

Currently, he collaborates as an actor with the Żelazny Theatre, Andrzej Dopierała's Without Scene Theatre, the Rawa Theatre in Katowice, and the Ave Theatre in Rzeszów. He is also a lecturer at the Acting School of the Silesian Theatre in Katowice, where he teaches acting and text interpretation.
