Marta Minorowicz

Director and screenwriter of feature films and documentaries. Author of dozen of social reports for TVN and TVP Polish television.

Graduate of Theater Studies and English Philology at Jagiellonian University and the Andrzej Wajda Film School. Doctorate awarded by Polish National Film School in Lodz.

Her feature film Illusion won the Grand Prix at Tirana Film Festival. Her documentary-fiction hybrid feature film Zud was nominated for the Crystal Bear Award at Berlinale 2016 and received the Fathy Farag award at Cairo International Film Critics Week for best artistic contribution, along with a Special Mention at Gdynia Film Festival. Her documentary films A Piece of Summer and Decrescendo have been awarded at many festivals, including being awarded the Grand Prix at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and the Golden Dove at International Leipzig Festival for Documantary and Animated Films.

Beneficiary of the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Nipkow Scholarship in Berlin. Participant of EAVE workshops. Member of the program board of „First documentary film“ at the Munk Studio. Member of Polish Film Academy
