Until November 25, 2022 you can still take part in the 12th Outdoor Photography Festival in Żory, which grew out of the tradition of the Żory Open-Air Photography Festival organized since 2010. At the invitation of the organizers of the Festival, Żory is visited by authors specializing in various types of photography. Their speeches in a small festival circle constitute responses and comments on leading topics.

The festival includes screenings of short films by students of Cinematography Course at the Kieslowski Film School and there will be a multimedia exhibition "Memoria MMXXII" by prof. Janusz Musiał.

The screening of short films will take place on September 16 at 17.00 at the City Museum in Żory. Jan Barszczewski ("La Repasseuse", "Enemy"), Julia Dziworska ("Rakietera", "Windows"), Filip Dziworski ("Rickshaw"), Katarzyna Hordowicz ("Breakdown Motel"), Karolina Monwid-Olechnowicz ( "Flora") and Bartosz Toboła ("Test").

Opening of the exhibition "Memoria MMXXII" by prof. Janusz Musiał will be held on September 16 at 6.00 p.m. at the City Museum in Żory. Memoria MMXXII is a project whose author attempts to examine the visual layer of memory, in thematizing the issues of remembering in the context of personal, local and artistic memory, using new media: photography, moving image art, film, animation, sound. The exhibition will last until October 31.
