Grand Prix, Audience Award and the Award for the Best Cinematography scored by our students at the 8th Przezrocza Film Festival

Short documentary "Joanna d'Arc" (2022) dir. Aleksander Szamałek, "Autobus" (2022), dir. Piotr Michalak and "Uwięziona" (2021) dir. Piotr Bieliński leave the 8th edition of the Przeźrocza Film Festival in Bydgoszcz with Prizes.

The Grand Prix of the short documentary film competition BLYSK OKA was awarded to Aleksander Szamałek for the film "Joanna d'Arc" for "a rough, moving and painfully honest portrait of a modern fighting woman".

The award for the best cinematography went to Piotr Michalak for the film "Autobus" (directed by Piotr Michalak). The prize was awarded for "careful observation of fragments of reality and the color of the bus journey."

The prizes in the short documentary film competition BŁYSK OKA were awarded by the Jury composed of: Marcin Borchardt, Krzysztof Gawronkiewicz and Weronika Płaczek.

The Audience Award goes to the film "Uwięziona" directed by Piotr Bieliński. The film's cinematographers are Marek Kita and Jan Barszczewski. Maja Krężel was responsible for production management.

The main part of the 8th edition of the Przeźrocza film festival was held on 1-4 September in Bydgoszcz.
