Produced at the Kieślowski Film School in Katowice, the short films "The Delivery" and "When the Night Comes" directed by Katarzyna Sikorska return with distinctions from Ukraine! Film Festival in Warsaw and Seguin Film & Arts Festival in the USA.
"The Delivery" (2021), dir. Katarzyna Sikorska received a special mention from the social jury in the short film competition of the 7th edition of Ukraine! Film Festival in Warsaw. The jury composed of: Justyna Chaberska, Marlena Ochońska, Łukasz Skórko, Michał Mielnik appreciated "taking up an extremely difficult and delicate topic related to surrogate motherhood in the context of Polish-Ukrainian relations, aesthetic and technical values and a high level of acting skills".
Arkadiusz Powałka is the cinematographer for the film "The Delivery". Adrianna Orych was responsible for production management. The pedagogical supervision over the production was provided by prof. Michał Rosa and Dr. Łukasz Baka. The producer of the film is prof. Krystyna Doktorowicz.

7th edition of Ukraine! The Film Festival was held on October 21-29 in Kinoteka in Warsaw. The short film competition was an excellent opportunity to present young, independent filmmakers associated with Polish and Ukrainian cinematography. From among the submissions, 24 films, both fictional, documentary and animated, were selected and evaluated by a professional jury and a social jury.
On the other hand, the short film "When the Night Comes" (2021), dir. Katarzyna Sikorska received a special mention in the student category at the Seguin Film & Arts Festival. The festival was held October 29-30 in Seguin, Texas, USA.
The cinematographer for the film "When the Night Comes" is Arkadiusz Powałka. Maria Kawalec was responsible for production management. The pedagogical supervision over the production was performed by prof. Filip Bajon. The producer of the film is prof. Krystyna Doktorowicz.
