The 33rd Man in Danger Media Festival is going to feature many amazing documentaries. We're proud to announce that one of them is going to be Marta Z. Nowak's "Claw." The documentary short will, in fact, have its world premiere during this year's edition. Estera Świętosławska handled the cinematography, whereas Dorota Chłapek managed the production. The film is produced by Kieślowski Film School.

Nowak's previous film, "Afonia," has earned many accolades. "Claw" centers on Mr. Lukasz, a puppeteer who is living in a sleepy village and working on a unique project. However, things take a turn when he decides to provide shelter for refugees from eastern Ukraine. Luke's project helps the family take their minds off the harrowing realities of war. He in turn gains companions who can support him throughout the path toward the achievement of his goal.

The festival will be held from October 16, 2023, to October 22, 2023, at the Museum of Cinematography, Łódź. It is also possible to access the festival online from the Think Film VOD platform from October 16 to October 19, 2023.
