We cordially invite you to the CASTING IN AUSTRALIA panel: "Mad Max. Fury Road" vs. "Talk to Me": Script, cast, and budget—from small cinemas to high-budget productions.

The discussion will be held on November 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in our cinema room. Joining us are two film industry personalities, Piotr Bartuszek and Nikki Barrett.

🗣 Nikki Barrett is a casting director who has worked on many Australian and international films and television productions for over 20 years. She is known for her work on films such as "Elvis," "Talk to Me," "Mad Max: Fury Road," "Hacksaw Ridge," "I Am Mother," "Peter Rabbit," and “Mao's Last Dancer.”

Barrett recently completed work on George Miller's "Fury Road" prequel, "Furiosa," as well as Ron Howard's feature film, "Eden." Her latest television work includes the upcoming series "Boy Swallows Universe" and Justin Kurzel's "The Narrow Road to the Deep North" with Jacob Elordi, Ciaran Hinds, and Odessa Young. Nikki has received BAFTA, AACTA, and a number of CGA awards. She is a member of AMPAS and the International Casting Directors Association (ICDA).

🗣 Piotr Bartuszek has been associated with the film industry for twenty years. He has facilitated the casting for over ninety films and series and further collaborated on many domestic and international productions. He is a member of the European Film Academy and the ICDA (board member). He is also a co-founder of the PCDG, which was founded in 2022.
