Out of Water by Gracjana Piechula has won the Youth category at the 17th ŻUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival, which took place from December 6 to 10, 2023, in Białystok.

Zosia is the 13-year-old child of deaf parents. Together with her father, she sets out to compete in a swimming competition, which is her dream and in which she was not allowed to participate due to her father's oversight. Along the way, the heroes encounter complications that put Zosia in the role of a translator and intermediary between the deaf father and the rest of the world. Having a voice becomes not only a privilege for a girl but also a burden.
