Last weekend, a two-day international conference named (Nie)opowiedziane (translation: (Un)told) took place. It explored what lies at the heart of photography and memory.
(Nie)opowiedziane is an international scientific conference devoted to the medium of photography and focused on its integral role in the popularization of scientific achievements, the work of scientists, scientific research and development, and the promotion of science, showing the usefulness of scientific knowledge in everyday life, and at the same time popularizing the tradition of the academic community.
We would like to thank the organizer, the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, for the opportunity to be part of this event. We would also like to thank all guests, both on-site and online, and conference participants.
The Artistic and Scientific Council, chaired by the initiator and organizer of the conference, Dr. Agnieszka Babińska (Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk), along with many other eminent people from the world of science and photography, included the Director of the Institute of Film and Theater Arts at the Kieślowski Film School, prof. Ph.D. Janusz Musiał
