Today marks two years since we learned of the passing of Ernest Wilde, the Vice Dean of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia, a wonderful person and lecturer, always smiling and an irreplaceable friend of the students.

On this special day, we commend ourselves to his memory.

The Vice Dean was associated with our faculty for over 40 years. He was repeatedly honored with the Rector's Award of the University of Silesia for educational and organizational achievements and was nominated three times for the Student Laurel.

We are grateful for the opportunity to have shared many moments together.
