We invite you to the "Mimesis" exhibition at the Schoena Palace - Museum in Sosnowiec, where among the works of 26 participants (photographers, painters, visual artists), you will find creations by Krzysztof Szlapa, a photographer and staff member of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School!
The exhibition, organized as part of the 26th edition of the Sosnowiec Art Meetings, is pleased to present to the public the art of creators from the Zagłębie and Upper Silesia regions.
📅 April 19 - May 19, we invite you to visit the Museum in Sosnowiec during these days to view the exhibition.
The idea behind the Sosnowiec Art Meetings is to showcase what is most valuable, most innovative, and revolutionary in the art of the region, while also entering the canon of classic Polish art. This year's theme relates to one of the oldest concepts in the history of aesthetics and one of the most important issues that art has grappled with over the centuries: its relationship to reality. Mimesis comes from Greek and means "imitation".
We are very pleased that the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School is enriched by diverse artists at every level. Krzysztof, congratulations! 🙂
