The Golden and Silver Lions have been awarded, and the excitement of the 49th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia is slowly subsiding. We are proud that artists connected with the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School of the University of Silesia are among the laureates!
🏆 Agnieszka Nowosielska, our alumna, won the award for directing the film Ave Eva and received the "Mocne Wejście" award from Zwierciadło magazine.
🏆 The film Pipsqueak (original title: Grajdło), produced by our school and directed by Lena Jaworska, was awarded for being the most environmentally friendly short film.
🏆 Special congratulations to our lecturer Marcin Koszałka, awarded for directing and co-writing the script for White Courage (original title: Biała Odwaga) with Łukasz M. Maciejewski.
