Gallery Pusta cd. invites to the opening of the exhibition entitled Harmony in disharmony by Karolina Monwid-Olechnowicz - 4th year student of Cinematography at the Kieślowski Film School. The online opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday, January 27 at 18.00 on the MS Teams platform.

Harmony in disharmony.

Very often our feet are directed to the roads that we might not have chosen ourselves, or we do not understand. The time and place where we were born, the people who accompany us and the series of experiences that have been recorded on our card, create a network of dependencies that pushes us to make these and not other decisions during our journey. Let us consciously learn to follow, searching for ourselves, to go where we want without any dependence. Let us experience despite the complexity of fate.

Harmony in Disharmony is a collection of selected portraits of my relatives, those with whom my journey in the exploration of the art world began. In my approach to the portrait, I see more than a face, but a multi-level expression of emotionality that goes beyond the frame.

Karolina Monwid - Olechnowicz born in 1995, an adept in film art, looking beyond the horizon of perception and awareness, looking for what is invisible in her work. 4th year student of Cinematography at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School of the University of Silesia in Katowice.
