18. Węgiel Film Festival will be held on May 13-16, 2021. The Festival is as always prepared by the second-year students of the Film Production at the Kieślowski Film School. Among the first revealed program attractions of this year's edition are the workshops: “The mysterious role of a sales agent in the film - Who are they? Where to find them? How to start cooperation?”. The workshop will be conducted by Lidia Damatto Moreira, who works as a sales agent and a purchasing and festival manager at FiGa Films. Over the years, she has worked at festivals such as Ambulante California, and the Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival. Shee is the creator and director of Cinema Novo - New Cinema, a Brazilian cinema screening taking place in New York.

Another guest at the festival will be Anna Kot from Aurum Film - a specialist in PR and promotion of short and feature films, who worked on the promotion of such films as "Corpus Christi" dir. Jan Komasa, "Coach's Daughter", dir. Łukasz Grzegorzek or one of the newest Netflix productions "All my friends are dead", dir. Jan Belcel. Anna Kot will share with festival participants her experience in developing a film promotion strategy.

In addition, as part of the Festival, the workshop "Dramaturgy of light in film" conducted by the director and cinematographer - Marcin Koszałka, will take place. The workshop will be carried out on 3-4 cameras and the images will be streamed in real time for the event participants.
