"Draugen" - a documentary film by our lecturer prof. Dagmara Drzazga was nominated for the prestigious PRIX EUROPA award in the category TV Documentary. The producer of the film is TVP Katowice.

The protagonist of the film “Draugen” is Wojciech Bogadoł from Mikołów, a scout, son of a Silesian insurgent, who during the World War II was incorporated into the Wehrmacht and sent to Norway. On the tiny island of Kvitsoy, he meets the love of his life, Liv. Young people have a chance to make their own lives, they just have to wait until the end of the war...

PRIX EUROPA is an important event addressed mainly to TV and radio producers. The prizes are awarded in 10 categories. The winners of individual competitions are given the opportunity to promote their film through distribution and broadcasting on European TV and radio stations.
