Our graduates among the laureates of the 46. Polish Film Festival in Gdynia

The "Fears" directed by Łukasz Gutt, a graduate of the Kieślowski Film School, and Łukasz Ronduda, was awarded the Grand Prize "GOLDEN LIONS" at the 46th edition of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia for the best film!

The filmmakers also received 3 extra-statutory prizes: the Journalists' Award for the best film in the Main Competition, the Young Jury Award for the best film in the Main Competition, and "Don Quixote" The Award of the Polish Federation of Film Discussion Clubs.

The "SILVER LIONS" award went to the film "Leave no traces" directed by our graduate and lecturer Jan P. Matuszyński. The film was produced by Leszek Bodzak and Aneta Hickinbotham (our graduate in film and television production). Jan P. Matuszyński's film was also awarded for its set design (Paweł Jarzębski) and the Award of Polish Film Festivals and Reviews Abroad.

The award for a directorial debut or second film went to our graduate Aleksandra Terpińska for the film "Other People". Terpińska's debut was also awarded in the editing (Magdalena Chowanska) and male lead (Jacek Beler) categories.

The authors also received 2 extra-statutory prizes: the Award of the Studio Cinemas Association and the Onet Award Discovery of the Polish Feature Film Festival.

The film "Hyacinth", directed by our graduate and lecturer, Piotr Domalewski, was appreciated for its script (Marcin Ciastoń) and make-up (Daria Siejak). The film also received the Golden Clapper Radio Gdańsk Prize for the longest applauded film in the Main Competition.

The Audience Award, awarded as a result of audience voting in festival cinemas, went to our graduate Bartosz Blaschke for his film "Sonata".
