Lecturer at the Kieślowski Film School, prof. UŚ dr hab. Dagmara Drzazga was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, for outstanding contributions to the development of independent journalism, for achievements in journalistic work and social activity. The ceremony took place at the Journalist's House in Warsaw.

The Cross of Merit is awarded to people who have contributed to the state or citizens through their public activity and charity.
