The 21st Węgiel Film Festival is just around the corner, so it's a good idea to delve into the program and see what has been prepared for you this year!
The festival program includes the following events among others:
📅 April 24 - Workshop "Narrative Scene in One Take" with Prof. Robert Gliński, 14:00, (registration required). Opening ceremony of the XXI. WFF, screening of the film "Next to Nothing" directed by Grzegorz Dębkowski, Światowid Cinema, 19:00, (seat limit: 50).
📅 April 25 - Student Film Market pitching session, 11:00, (seat limit: 50). Market "Microbudgets 2024. How to Debut?" with Maja Marczewska and Bartosz Reetz, Polish Institute of Film Art, 14:00, (seat limit: 30). Masterclass with Joanna Szymańska, led by Piotr Domalewski, 15:00, (seat limit: 30). Workshop "Using AI in Films" with Marcin Marczyk, Wajda School & Studio, 18:30, (registration required).
📅 April 26 - Animation workshops, Film School in Łódź / PWSFTviT, 10:00, (seat limit: 16). Market "Coffee with Gdynia" with Joanna Łapińska, Festival of Polish Feature Films, 13:00. Screening of the film "Pianoforte," directed by Jakub Piątek, 16:00. Company fair (including ATM Group, Cinelight, 24MEDIA, Weapon Rental), 20:00, (seat limit: 50).
📅 April 27 - Masterclass with Karolina Tarabura, led by Piotr Domalewski, 15:00, (seat limit: 30). Screening of the film "Kiosk," directed by Daniel Stopa, 16:00. Closing ceremony of the XXI. edition of the Węgiel Film Festival, awarding of prizes to the winners, spinPLACE, 20:00.

Of course, the program will not lack the most important aspect of film festivals - the films! Competitive film screenings will take place from April 25-27, and we are pleased to announce that among the qualified short films, three are ours - congratulations to the teams! 👏
