A short comedy about a little girl named Mania. Her hysterical mother takes her to a rural house to stay with her ill-tempered aunt, where she befriends a small chicken. When she realizes why her aunt keeps chickens, Mania stages a one-person rebellion.

National Film Competition
🎬 Beware of Good Dog | directed by Adelina Borets | cinematography by Paweł Kozak | production management by Kacper Anaczkowski & Iryna Borkovska | produced in 2024
Stepan regularly takes in elderly dogs from the shelter, offering them a peaceful place to spend their final days. This is his way of coming to terms with his own mortality. He dreams of a quiet death, even amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Additionally, the festival will feature other films directed by our students and alumni, including Basia: Three Short Stories directed by Mateusz Pietrak (with cinematography by Paweł Kozak), as well as the feature documentary debut by our student Adelina Borets, titled Flowers of Ukraine.
Special recognition goes to Paweł Kozak, who provided cinematography for three competition films in the festival's official selection. What an achievement—well done!
The Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival will be held from October 26 to November 3. This is yet another festival accredited by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences where our films are featured. Here's to continued success!
