Two films, produced by Krzysztof Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television, were awarded on the International Student Film Festival Watersprite which finished on 6 March and took place in Cambridge (Great Britain). Lidia Kanclerz and Aleksandra Kwiecińska were awarded in the category Best Scenography for their work in the film It Could Have Happened, It Had To Happen, directed by Katarzyna Warzecha. Jan Wroński, on the other hand, was awarded for the Best Sound for The Shadow Forest by Andrzej Cichocki.

The other nominated films during this year’s edition of Watersprite Festival were: Patryk Kin (nominated for the prize for Best Picture for God Bless You and Robert Lis (nominated for the prize for Best Pictures for It Could Have Happened, It Had To Happen. In previous years films, produced at the Faculty of Radio and Television, were awarded on the Festival in Cambrige three times: in 2014 short film All Souls' Day was awarded for directing (Aleksandra Terpińska) and cinematography (Bartosz Bieniek), and last year Damian Kocur was awarded prize for cinematography in film Lesson.
