We are thrilled to announce that the film Victim of the Moon will take part in the International Competition at the 41st Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF)!
The festival will be held from October 18-23, 2024, and is one of the most prestigious short film festivals in the world. This year, over 15,000 films from 150 countries were submitted, and with an incredibly low selection rate of just 0.06%, simply being chosen for the competition is a huge honor!
Moreover, TISFF is an Oscar-qualifying festival, meaning a win could pave the way for a nomination.
Before Victim of the Moon heads to Tehran, the film will be showcased at the 8th Zsigmond Vilmos International Film Festival in Hungary, taking place from October 9-13, 2024. You can catch our film on October 10th at 3:00 PM in the student films block. This festival honors the legacy of the Oscar-winning cinematographer behind Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
We last shared news about Victim of the Moon during its world premiere at last year's ENERGA Camerimage, the prestigious festival celebrating the art of cinematography.

Inspired by Mikhail Bulgakov’s The Master and Margarita, the film tells the story of poet Ivan Bezdomny and his struggle with dreams haunted by the works of a writer he met years ago, during the full moon.
Congratulations and fingers crossed for you all!
